Let His praise be on your lips every day!

51:15 Psalm “Open my lips, Lord, and my mouth will declare your praise.” (NIV)

When you are in a group of friends, what causes you to speak up? What if they wanted to do something bad… would you speak up then? What causes you to want to speak up for Jesus? We can do so with thanks… with praise… with requests… with questions about what He wants us to do next. Be prepared to speak up for Jesus. Be prepared to give Him your praise. Let His Word be top of mind and deep in your heart daily.

Please send along this verse to your friends and co-workers in His kingdom by sharing a link to this page. Ask them what situation or circumstance causes them to speak up for God. Ask how that makes them feel when they are sharing His love in praise or thanks to God. Let them know of the joys we have in sharing our faith and in offering up praises to God every day. Please remember to Take Time For God’s Word© throughout your day as you speak-up for God, then be reminded of this verse as ’51:15’, and share your praise for all that He has done in your life.

You can set this as a Reminder on your phone at 1:15pm with the title ’51:15 Psalm Open my lips, Lord.’ You can also recall it whenever you see or write the numbers “51” or “15” (as the reverse of the digits). We all remember in different ways. When we single out something (like a number) and link it to something important (like a verse), then we create a connection. Seeing that number causes your mind to trigger that verse. It helps you to make ‘memorable’ verses become ‘unforgettable’. When you see those numbers, the verse(s) quickly come to mind. Keep practicing with your favorite verses. When those seem to become almost automatic in your mind, then pick another verse or two and keep working on those. Each verse becomes an added blessing to know in your mind and to use in your life. Keep His Word close to your heart!

Pray for all of the soup kitchens and the food banks that operate around the country. We often forget how many people live at the ‘poverty line’. Even small added expenses cause them to not afford food for their families. They need help on a regular basis. If we all donate just a few cans of food each week, these people will be fed. What a blessing you become through simple acts of generosity and concern for those in need. THANK YOU for what you are doing… please continue it. Stay blessed in ALL that you do. Pass it on as you open your lips and as you open your hearts to give to the needs of others. GOD BLESS YOU!!
