Are your sins washed away today?

51:02 Psalm “Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin." (NIV)

King David was confronted with his sins by the prophet Nathan. David then admitted his guilt and sought the forgiveness of God. This psalm is for ALL of us who need to have our sins forgiven and our hearts cleansed from the guilt that comes with those sins. God is faithful… He will forgive our sins. When He does, leave those sins and that guilt at the foot of the cross. Do Not continue to let those past sins drag you down. He has set you free. Claim that freedom. Live as a redeemed child of God. He has made you clean!

You can give this verse to your friends, family and co-workers in His kingdom by copying this blog or by sending them the link to this page. Ask them to recall a time when they were the most dirty, muddy, or in need of cleansing. Ask how that felt to be washed clean again. Share with them about the cleansing which we can have when we seek God’s forgiveness through Christ. Pray with them and for them that ALL may experience the clean hearts that only God can give. Please Take Time For God’s Word© many times each day when you stop to wash your hands, then recall this verse as ’51:02’, and thank God for His cleansing power in your life. Think about your routine each day. It often includes a hot shower, brushing teeth, washing your face, putting on clean clothes, and starting the day off clean and refreshed. We do that for our bodies every day without thinking about it… yet, we often forget the cleansing which counts the most. We need to start with a clean heart. We need to spend time in God’s Word. We need to seek His forgiveness. We need to lay aside our sins of the past. We need to be free to live for Him. Add that to your morning activities… seek a clean heart to start each day.

Let us continue our prayers for ALL of the workers at our schools…cooks, custodians, librarians, crossing guards, bus drivers, and so many other volunteers that make educating our children and grandchildren possible. Each one has the ability to influence and impact our kids. Just a smiling face… a kind word… a willing heart… and acts of goodness will be seen and it will have an impact. We THANK all of those in such positions and roles. Support them. Encourage them. Stay blessed to be a great blessing to others. Pass it on with a clean heart and with a focus on helping others to find such cleansing in their lives as well!
