What are you most thankful for each day? I hope that it is a LONG list. Hopefully, God is at the top of that list. When we recall that ALL that we have is a gift from God, we definitely have A LOT to thank Him for each day. Then, don’t forget to say ‘thank you’ to those you love… to those who are helping you at school, at work, and at your church. A simple ‘thank you’ can make someone’s day. It shows they were appreciated. It shows that they did something to help another person. It shows they were a blessing to someone today. YOU be that blessing by saying ‘THANKS’ always and often each day!
PLEASE give this verse to ALL of your friends on social media and on your email list by sharing the link to this post. Ask when was the last time they truly stopped to tell someone ‘thanks’. Ask how that made them feel and how that made the other person feel to be thanked. Remind them that we ALL owe God our thanks each day for His many blessings. Share with them one of the blessings that you are thankful for today. Then Take Time For God’s Word© often each day when you hear the word ‘thanks’, then recall this verse as ’50:23’, and give God your THANKS for all He has done for you. Imagine what your day would be like if you said ‘thanks’ to everyone who did anything nice to you. You would say it LOTS. Then, if those people said it to the ones that they interacted with… and then all of those…. and so on. It would make a HUGE difference in the attitudes and in the lives of SO MANY people. All because we were reminded to be thankful. As it says in our verse, ‘giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors’ our God. It shows a grateful heart… it shows the impact of His love for us… it takes our time and our attention off of us and focuses it on God… to Him be all the glory and thanks… forever!
Please pray for all of the teachers, aides, social workers, etc. in our various schools. This is a group of people who definitely deserve our thanks. What a great impact they have our on children and grandchildren. They have a huge influence on each child. They give great encouragement. They focus on helping kids to learn and to have a love of learning that will last a lifetime. If you are (or were) a teacher, THANK YOU…. THANK YOU…. THANK YOU! You have made a difference in the lives of many people. Continue to be a blessing to others. Pass it on with great thanksgiving to God and with thanks to those you love!
