Who will you call to help you?

50:15 Psalm “and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.” (ESV)

King David knew about trouble…he caused a lot of it… he attracted a lot of it… he needed the help of God to get Him through all of it. Sounds a lot like us. No matter how careful we are, trouble will still find us. We need to know that we can get through it. We need to know that someone will be there when we call for HELP. AND, we know that help is there for us… God is our help in times of trouble. Admit that you need the help. Repent of the sin(s) that got you into the trouble. Accept God’s help and be free. Then give Him all the glory for what He has done for you. Always give God the glory!

You can pass along this verse to all of your family or friends who need help from their times of trouble by sending them the link to this page. Ask who they call on in times of trouble. Ask if those people always come to help them out. Let them know about God’s love for them and His commitment to them. Help them to find their way to know Jesus. Remember to Take Time For God’s Word© each day when you see people in trouble, then think of this verse as ’50:15’, and give God the glory for all the times that He has helped you. I have known this verse for nearly 60 years. I learned it in Sunday School. That was a good thing. Because I have used it countless times as a reminder when I was in trouble… again and again. How about you? Knowing these verses and bringing them to mind often is our help in times of trouble. Knowing His promises… His love… His forgiveness… His grace… makes all the difference in our lives. He sets us free. If that is what you want, then know His Word and experience His forgiveness each and every day. What a great way to live life to its fullest!

We keep in our prayers all of those people who are impacted by the winter storms and the ongoing flooding around the country. It is having an impact on farmers in the mid-West and on communities along the overflowing rivers across multiple states. Our hearts go out to those displaced by the floods and those whose homes or businesses are damaged or destroyed by these floods. Help to support them. Be there for those in such need. Be a blessing to them in this time of great trouble. Pass it on to those who need God’s help each day.
