What makes today special? So special that you (and others) will remember it always. We all recall Jesus washing the feet of the disciples. Simple act…not a miracle…just an act of humility and service and of love. Yet, it stands out as a lesson we tell and re-tell often. So, what will you do today (and every day) that shows ‘defending the truth, humility, and justice’. Let it be known that you ‘perform awe-inspiring deeds’ to show that Christ is living and working through your life. I can’t wait to see what God will do through you!!

Because of that, we can defend truth… act in humility… and preserve justice for those around us. More importantly, we have ALL that we need to ‘perform awe-inspiring deeds’. There should be great and compelling stories which others will tell about us for generations to come. Stories of how Jesus changed our lives. Stories of great kindness and compassion. Stories of great generosity and unselfish giving. Stories of forgiveness, reconciliation, and love. Make each day memorable… and give God the glory for it all! Be unforgettable!
We continue to pray for all of the hospice and Alzheimer’s care facilities and their patients. We also pray for their families and friends. It is painful to watch and to interact with others who are failing in health or with the loss of memory. Yet, that is the time they need us the most. To be there. To help them through this time. To listen. To pray. To comfort. AND to celebrate those memorable days in their lives when they made an impact on others. We all want to have an impact… we want our lives to count and to matter. With the help of God, they will matter… forever. Be that blessing. Pass it on through ‘awe-inspiring deeds’ of love and kindness and service to Him!
