His saving grace is available to you each day…

40:16 Psalm “But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who long for your saving help always say, "The LORD is great!" (NIV)

This is not a game of hide-and-go-seek. The Lord is right where He has always been… available… supportive… forgiving… accessible… and more. It is our task to seek Him and then to rejoice and be glad when we have found all the wonderful plans and blessings that He has in store for us. His mercy is new every day. We cannot exhaust His love for us… it lasts forever. There is SO MUCH that we should be thankful for each day because of His great love for us. What a great start to the day… by giving Him thanks and great praise. “The Lord is great!”

Please give this verse to friends on your social media and email accounts by copying this blog or by sending them the link to this page. Ask if there is anything that they truly seek each day. Ask where they look and how they expect to receive that thing that they are seeking. (Not counting car keys… we are often seeking them.) Let them know that you seek to know Jesus more and more each day. Share with them the verse(s) which speak to your heart and why they are meaningful to you. They will listen. They will know that you are sincere. Pray for those friends. Always, Take Time For God’s Word© as you long for His saving help (which may be often), then consider this verse as ’40:16’, and may you frequently say, “The Lord is great!” as you see His hand working in your life. When my son went to college, I packed His Bible with other books he was taking with him. I would sometimes write a note to him with a Bible verse at the end. I would encourage him to look up the verse. I told him that he would be surprised at how helpful that verse could be to him. He followed the advice… and found that I had book marked several key verses in his Bible with $10 or $20 bills. I did reassure him that the value of the verse(s) far exceeded the value of the money that I had placed there. It was a good reminder to him. If you print out this verse card and carry it in your pocket or purse, you will see it often. You will be reminded of His ‘saving help’. It will cause you to rejoice in His great love for you. It will encourage you to share that love with others. Be that blessing!

Please pray for those specific missionaries that you know from your church or from your personal contacts. Name them in your prayers. Pray for their health, safety, strength, message, ministry, and so much more. Know that these people often face isolation and challenges in living on the front lines of their faith. Encourage them. Write to them often. Be a great supporter of their work and their results. Bless them as they are blessing others with the love of Jesus. We can all do more to help these fellow believers. THANK YOU for all that you are doing now… keep it going. Pass it on with rejoicing and with a glad heart and grateful mind.
