Keep His law within your heart…

40:08 Psalm “I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart." (NIV)

When you start each day, do you have a plan or a goal for that day? Do you prioritize what’s most important so that you do that first? Those are useful habits. Yet, it is more important that we align our desires with His will and that we follow His commands as we go about the many activities within each day. That keeps us focused. That keeps us grounded. That gives us a unique perspective on what’s happening all around us. If you keep Him first, it doesn’t matter what comes next… He’s got you covered!

You can route this verse to all of your family, friends, and neighbors by copying this blog or the link to this page. Ask if they have a ‘TO DO’ list each day. Ask if they follow it and if they complete everything that is on it. Let them know about your priorities. Share with them the need to keep God first in all of our planning and in our thinking. It makes ALL the difference in the world. Next, Take Time For God’s Word© as you seek to do His will daily, then consider this verse as ’40:08’, and let His Word and His truth reign in your hearts. If you use a ‘daily planner’ or ‘activity tracker’ to help you organize and prioritize your day, GREAT, you can put this verse at the start of each weekly page. As you are putting in tasks, activities, or events, you can think about ways that you can serve God while serving others in those activities. It will give your focus. It will add clarity and purpose to what you plan to do. Then you can enjoy everyone of them, with God’s help and guidance. What a great way to live life abundantly. (see 10:10 John)

Continue to pray for all of the organizations and staff who devote themselves to mission programs and projects around the world. We remember World Vision (Federal Way, WA) for all of their many efforts among some of the poorest communities around the world. They focus on providing for the children in those places… food, water, education, etc. I received an update that one of the two children that I sponsor has a 13th birthday coming up. I have been sponsoring her since she was 6. What a blessing to see her grow and progress because of the help from World Vision. Support it if you can. Be a blessing where you are. We may never know the impact that we have had on the lives of others… but God knows. Stay blessed in all that you do. Pass it on faithfully as you follow His will daily.
