It seems that we are all trying to add up more money as if that is the only measurement of a full and fulfilling life. For too many, the money is all that they have… few friends, little time to enjoy life, stress, lack of sleep, etc. They are missing out on what life is all about… love, joy, enjoyment, fellowship, prayer, and so much more. Remember, you can’t take it (money) with you… and where we are going, there will be no need for money because we will have it ALL! May you be known for your generous giving and passionate living in Him!!

Ask what memories and stories will also be part of that inheritance. Remind them that life is all about relationships, experiences, our walk with God, and ALL the blessings that He gives to us along the way. We need to keep perspective on money and how to use it. That is not easy. There are many temptations. There are many distractions. It is hard to know how much is ‘enough’. Let the love of God guide your decisions and then enjoy ALL that He has given you and be blessed in your giving and your living!
Our prayers extend to all of those who are associated with our prison system at all levels… guards, staff, prisoners, their families, and the families of their victims. It is so sad to see the consequences of sin. It has such a wide impact. It causes so much destruction. Yet, we know that there is forgiveness through Christ. We know that there can be restoration. Be a blessing to those who are impacted by such sins. Help to bring the hope and restoration that is needed. That is our calling. Stay blessed. Pass it on… as a friend from church says, “Do your givin’ while your livn’ so your knowin’ where it’s goin’.”
