Holding hands. Such a simple expression of love… trust … comfort … joy… and more. I remember as a small child holding my dad’s hand, leading me through a crowd. All I could see were knees and legs but I knew that he would not let go… he would take me carefully where we were going… and I knew that I was safe in his hands. That’s how it is with God… only much more. He upholds us. He catches us as we stumble and nearly fall. He leads us. He keeps us by His eternal love for us. Take hold of His hand today and walk with Him by your side. You are in the hand of God!

Ask if they remember holding the hands of parents OR if they hold the hands of kids or grandkids. Ask if that creates a special bond with them and their loved ones. Please pray for and support you local food banks and soup kitchens. They are truly a life-line of support to so many who are still struggling in life. If Christians took this seriously, and if we each gave just one can of food or a box of cereal each week, the food banks would be overflowing and the soup kitchens could welcome more people to serve. We need to be ‘doers’ of the Word. We need to take the message to heart and then to give from the heart to the needs of others. THANK YOU for what you are doing even now. I commend you.
