Let God light your path each day…

36:09 Psalm “For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.” (NIV)

Light. It is essential to life. It travels fast (186,000 miles per second). It is made up of ALL of the colors and those which we can’t visibly see. We get both direct light and reflected light. These are all created light… created by God. He is the source of light. In Him is no darkness at all. Seek His light to light the way for you through life. Be His light to a dark world. Shine on!

Copy this blog or this link to provide this verse to your family, friends and neighbors. Ask if they have any windows which act like a prism in their homes. Ask how wonderful it is to see all the colors of light show on walls or ceilings. (I am always amazed by it). Let them know that God wants to be their light and life. He provided Jesus to be just that for them. Share His love. Be His light to them. Then, Take Time For God’s Word© as you see a rainbow in the sky, then recall this verse as ’36:09’, and the light of God’s love for you. If you like numbers, then this may be ‘3 plus 6 equals 9’ (36:9). OR, maybe you pass by a fountain on the way to work or church and you associate this verse with that fountain. OR, you associate it to one light fixture in your home so that when you turn on that light, and you recall ‘in your light we see light’. We recall things that are memorable. We remember things that make an impact on us. Use whatever methods you find helpful to bring more verses to life in your life. It will be time well spent now… and for eternity!

Uplift in your prayers all of the doctors, nurses, PA’s, techs, and other medical professionals who provide great service to us. Through their training and professional passion, they help us through some of the most painful and distressing times in our lives. Many do so with the love of Christ as their mission. Many use their skills in free clinics and medical mission trips. Let them know that you appreciate them. Support them. Encourage them. Be a blessing to them in their needs as well. Pass it on by being light and by reflecting the light and love of Christ.
