There is a war going on right now… right where you live. It is the battle for your soul. The devil wants to tempt you… to distract you… to cause you to doubt… to cause you to fear. Yet, we KNOW that God is with us. He will protect us. He will fight with us. So, we can be strong. We can be courageous… even in the toughest battles. We are on the winning side! Keep your hope in the Lord and keep fighting the good fight. Use the ‘sword of the Spirit’ which is the Word of God! Take Time For God’s Word often!
Copy this blog or this link to route this verse to all of your family, friends, and co-workers in His kingdom. Ask what they feel is their biggest temptation every day (not counting food). Ask if they pray for strength to battle that temptation. Let them know that God fights for them. He is with them each and every day. We need to encourage each other in the fight. Remember to Take Time For God’s Word© as you feel tempted each day, then recall this verse as ’31:24’, and take courage and be strong in your faith. Courage means to ‘have heart’ or ‘to take heart’. When our hearts belong to Jesus, they we know that He is right there with us and He will keep us strong in our battles. Having favorite verses close at hand will help you to be reminded of His promises and His faithfulness to you. You are never alone. He is just a prayer away… and He will respond. Stay blessed!
We again pray for all of the youth outreach missions which are supported through our churches and fellowship groups. Many are planning trips for this summer. They are holding fund raisers. They are doing service projects now to prepare. Get involved. Support them. Encourage them. Give a sponsorship to send someone who otherwise could not afford to go. It may be life-changing for them. Be that blessing. Pass it on to build strength and courage in all that you meet today!
