Tap into the storehouse of God’s goodness…

31:19 Psalm “How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.” (NLT)

Do you ever stop to count your blessings? We usually just take them for granted. Sometimes, we actually think that we even deserve them. Don’t be caught in that thinking. We do need to thank God for ALL of the goodness, blessings, and grace which He freely gives to us each day. I like that it says ‘lavish’ which means to provide in great abundance… God is VERY generous in what He gives if we but ask and seek and follow Him. AND, when you find that you have extra blessings… share them with others and they will be blessed, too!

Click ‘Like’ on this post and click ‘Share’ to give this verse to family and close friends. Ask if they feel blessed each day. Ask how that makes them feel and how they then act towards others. Share with them the blessings which you have received and shared with others. We need to encourage each other towards good deeds and acts of service. Next, Take Time For God’s Word© as you feel another blessing come into your life, then recall this verse as ’31:19’, and praise God for it. You may want to link this verse with red, expensive sports cars… let me explain. We KNOW that we have God’s goodness stored up for us AND that He will ‘lavish’ it upon us (31:19); then when we see those types of sports cars, we can KNOW that we have even greater blessings than a car given for us (and those cars get terrible mileage). Give thanks for your blessings. Find ways to share them. You will never run out. God ALWAYS has more in store for you. Who knew you could feel so blessed by just watching those sports cars fly by you on the road. You ARE Blessed!

We again pray for all of the organizations which help to support and re-settle refuges from around the world. We think of Exodus World Services (Park Ridge, IL) for all that they do in serving families with services, supplies, support, and so much more. They involve local churches to help mentor and interact with the new families. It is so critical to make sure that they are welcomed and that they get the ongoing help needed to be successful in this, their new home. Support them. Help where you can. Be a friend to them. They need strong Christian friends to help them to get established here. THANK YOU! Pass it on from the overflowing blessings which you receive.
