Are you one of the saints?

30:04 Psalm “Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.” (ESV)

Do you like to sing? What songs seem to come to mind? Do you ever sing songs of praise to God? That would be appropriate because of ALL that He has done for you. He has called you to be His own people. He has called you to be among the saints… faithful followers of Christ. Is that how you are acting? Is that how you are living? Let us give praise and thanks to Him. As it says in Philippians 1:27 “Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ…” (NIV)

Please pass along this verse to all of your family, friends, and neighbors. Ask if they break out in song when they hear a favorite song on the radio or TV. Ask if they ever stop to say, “Thank you, God” for their blessings during the day. Let them know that we have been greatly blessed. As a result, we should regularly offer our praise and thanks to God. We should rejoice in who God has made us through His saving grace. Take Time For God’s Word© whenever you hear singing, then recall this verse ’30:04’, and praise and thank God for His great love and blessings. Copy this verse and make it a Reminder on your phone at 3pm each day. Let it say, “30:04 Psalm…Sing praises…give thanks”. Let the ring tone be one of your favorite songs of praise. It will get your attention. It will remind you to praise God and to give thanks to Him. We ALL need to be reminded of that. It may also get some attention of those around you. It may give you the chance to share His love with them. You will be doubly blessed in doing that!

We also always extend our prayers for ALL of the people who serve in the various roles at our schools… principals, cooks, custodians, bus drivers, crossing guards, volunteers, nurses, etc. It takes a lot of people to work together to provide an education to our children and grandchildren. Each has a role to play. Each may have an impact on the students. Kind words… smiles… encouragements… and more will be remembered. They will have an influence. So, let us always have a positive attitude in all that we do. Thank them. Encourage them in their roles. Be a blessing wherever you are and to whomever God has placed in your path. Pass it on always with songs of praise and words of thanks to Him!
