Do not fear or be afraid…ever!

27:01 Psalm “Of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation-- whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life-- of whom shall I be afraid?” (NIV)

If you were to ask people what are their biggest fears, it may be… dying… public speaking… jumping out of an airplane (even with a parachute)… asking for a raise… and more. We seem to imagine the worst outcome and then fear has us in its grips. Yet, if we know Jesus, we should also know that He overcame death and He can help us to overcome ALL of our fears as well. You are already on the winning side… keep that in mind… always!! Fear not… stand firm in Him!!

Please pass along this blog or the link to this verse to friends on social media or on your email list. (And don’t be afraid to send it!) Ask what is their number one fear in life. Ask if they ever think that they will be able to overcome that fear. Let them know that when we have Jesus as our Savior, then we know that He will be with us always. That is a great comfort and joy. It helps to remove fear from our lives. Always Take Time For God’s Word© as you turn on a light switch to brighten a dark room, then recall that Jesus in the light of the world. Darkness causes us to fear. When we are in the light, we see clearly what is around us. With Jesus there to defend us, we know that we will be victorious in the end. Start living that empowered and victorious life right now. Don’t wait. Remove all fears and replace them with His words of hope and power. Don’t be afraid any more.

Our prayers go out to all of those people in nursing homes or assisted living facilities. We pray for all of the staff who work there as well. People fear being helpless, alone, and with no one who cares for them. Many are very lonely as they feel isolated from family and friends. We need to make extra efforts to contact or visit those people that we know in these facilities. Let them know that you pray for them. Let them know that you think of them often. Share His Word with them. Share His love with them. It will help them to be a witness to others in that facility as well. Be that blessing. Pass it on without fear and never ever be afraid again!
