Don’t suffer from a troubled heart…

25:17 Psalm “Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.” (NIV)

The Psalms talk about the heart often. It is that place inside of us that guides our love and our hopes and our very being. It longs to be at peace. It longs to find purpose and meaning. It seeks what is best for us. That is why we turn to God whenever we have that feeling of heartache or anguish in our lives. He knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows our deepest needs. He will satisfy us with all good things. Know Him to find what your heart truly longs for each day.

Please Take Time For God’s Word© whenever you begin to feel heartaches, then recall this verse. Too often, when we have a troubled heart, we isolate ourselves from others. We do not want to be hurt again. We feel that others cannot possibly know what we are going through. Yet, it is in those times that we need the most support and love and care from others to help us through the heartaches and pains. Reach out. Ask for help. Ask for prayers. We are the body of Christ. We care about each person’s needs. Be there to support those with broken hearts and give them His love and peace and joy!

Please pray for your pastors, ministers, and lay leaders in your church or fellowship group. They hear the pains and sorrows of their congregations. They deal with the loss of loved ones. They deal with the uncertainty of health and happiness among their church members. They need your support and your continuing prayers that God will give them the wisdom and strength to fulfill their calling and to be a great blessing to their people. Let them know that you are praying for them. Invite them to a breakfast or a lunch. Show your support for them. Offer to help where you can. Be a positive influence on their life. It will be a great blessing to them and to you. That is what you are… a great blessing! Pass it on each day as you help others to know your heartfelt love for them!
