You are never alone… God is with you always!

25:16 Psalm “Turn to me and have mercy, for I am alone and in deep distress.” (NLT)

With the holidays well behind us and the decorations now put away, for many people… the loneliness sets in. Everyone is gone. Now it is just you… you and the feeling that you are alone. It is a feeling that David, the author of the Psalms, felt many times. He would often cry out to God to be sure that God still heard him. Yet, David knew in his heart that God was there for him… He was always there for him in his time of need. God is still there for you… waiting for you to call on Him. He will hear. He will provide. He will guide you. He will be with you… forever!

Take a moment to send this verse to all of your friends on social media. Ask if they have ever felt alone in this world. Ask what causes them to feel that way and how they overcome it. Listen closely to their responses. Know that there are a lot of very lonely people who need to know that someone cares for them. They desperately want to hear the Good News. Please share it with them! Always Take Time For God’s Word© if you ever feel alone, then think of this verse and of our God who is always listening for your prayer. While we get very busy, please take the time to reach out to those who need loving voices to talk with them. It may be a shut-in…an elderly aunt or uncle… it may be someone in hospice care or in a nursing facility with no family close by. Take just a moment to reach out to them. Share your love. Share a favorite Bible verse (or two). Do this just to let them know that they are not alone. What a great blessing that will be. You are the blessing they are praying for. Be known for sharing His love and for being a light that shines for Jesus every day!

We continue to pray for those specific missionaries that we know from our church, our community, or our city. These people may be serving near or far away. They are committed. They are making a sacrifice to reach out to those who have yet to meet and to know the Savior, Jesus Christ. Contact them. Let them know your pray for them. Support them in whatever ways you can. Assure them that they are not alone in this calling. Stay blessed in all that you do. Pass it on to the lonely and to those in deep distress.
