Treat them like family…only better!

6:10 Galatians “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” (NIV)

Holidays are over. Many people are back at work. It’s a new year but some things are still the same. They don’t have to be that way. You can be different. You can see things differently. You can respond proactively. You can speak more positively. You are a new creation in Christ… live that way each day. Who knows which of those changes will have impacts into eternity… many will. Don’t miss out on any of them… we want the family of faith to grow and they are counting on YOU!

PLEASE copy this post and PLEASE send it on to friends in your church or fellowship group. You can do that easily. Ask if they have broken any of their new resolutions already. Ask if they can help you to keep yours… and you will help them, too. That is what we do. We help each other… small things AND big things. In the family of God we pay close attention to the needs of all believers. Starting today… make it a priority! Please, Take Time For God’s Word(c) at 6:10 am or pm or as you do good (which we hope is often), recall this verse AND the needs of fellow Christians. At times we are so outwardly focused that we fail to see the hurts, needs, problems, or mishaps right within our own church. Make each worship service a chance to connect… commit… converse… console… and compliment (and complement) each other. Use the time 6:10 pm each day to remind you to see who needs a call or a hug or your prayers. Be to His glory! Be the friend that many are praying to meet this new year!!

Our prayers again go out to all of the judges, courts, and personnel who seek to keep our land just and fair. They work tirelessly to administer justice and to help maintain peace and order. Thank them. Support them. Be a juror, if called. Stay blessed by being a blessing… that is what you area ‘blessing’. Live that way and pass it on to those who need a better future… an eternal one!
