Paul reminds us that our actions do have consequences. We cannot ignore God’s commands without there being a judgment day according to God’s plan. While we do reap what we sow, it also applies to planting seeds of hope, love, joy, grace, mercy, and more into our families, friends, and communities. We will see those actions also grow and bear fruit. That is the way we want to spend the New Year. That is how we want to spend our lives… spreading the love of Christ to all that we meet. Make new ‘forever friends’!!

As we end our calendar year, remember to pray for those causes and charities which address common social concerns like blood banks, medical advances into diseases, children’s hospitals, and so many others. We need to care for the physical needs of those around us. It is a touchpoint for them to see the love of Christ showing through your life. Live to give glory to God.
