Sow for the harvest of blessings… in the New Year!

6:07 Galatians “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” (NIV)

Paul reminds us that our actions do have consequences. We cannot ignore God’s commands without there being a judgment day according to God’s plan. While we do reap what we sow, it also applies to planting seeds of hope, love, joy, grace, mercy, and more into our families, friends, and communities. We will see those actions also grow and bear fruit. That is the way we want to spend the New Year. That is how we want to spend our lives… spreading the love of Christ to all that we meet. Make new ‘forever friends’!!

Please continue to copy this blog or share this link to give this reminder to all of your friends on social media. Ask what they are glad to leave in the past. Ask what they look forward to the most in the new year. Use the transition into the new year as an opportunity to share your faith and what you are looking forward to in God’s plan for you in 2019. Always Take Time For God’s Word(c) at 6:07 am or pm or as you see any crops growing, recall this verse and that we ‘reap what we sow’. Link this or other verses to ‘seeds’ to be reminded that what we sow can grow…10…100… or ever 1000 fold. Keep sharing His Word. Keep sharing His Love. Help others to experience the love and forgiveness which is only found in Christ. They will be eternally grateful that you did!!

As we end our calendar year, remember to pray for those causes and charities which address common social concerns like blood banks, medical advances into diseases, children’s hospitals, and so many others. We need to care for the physical needs of those around us. It is a touchpoint for them to see the love of Christ showing through your life. Live to give glory to God. It will be the best life possible. Have a blessed New Year! Be a great blessing to those around you. Pass it on into 2019 and forever!
