We finished the book of Romans and now we are working through Paul’s letter to the Galatians. It starts with a few verses of greeting and then POW… Paul gets right to the point. There are false teachers who are trying to lead the believers into a false gospel… a false set of teachings. We find that happens even today. People take a few principles from the Bible and then twist them to suit their own needs and agenda. We always need to test what’s said with what we know is true from the Bible. Stay close to His Word. Keep it close to your heart. It won’t fail you!!
Please give this verse close friends and family by sharing this blog or by copying this link. Ask if they have heard people preaching a false gospel. Ask how they were able to tell that it was fake. Share with them how you determine whether a teaching is from God or from merely men (or women). Continue to Take Time For God’s Word(c) at 1:07 am or pm or as you hear someone twisting the truth, remember this verse. You may want to put this as a Reminder in your phone at 1:07 pm with a title of ‘you are being fooled’. That will get your attention. It will cause you to pay attention. It will encourage you to compare what is said with what God’s Word has said to see if they are compatible and complementary towards each other. Seek the truth from the Bible. It will keep you on the right path throughout your life!
We continue our monthly prayer cycle with our prayers going out to all of the seminaries and organizations who are training up the next generation of clergy and Christian leaders. Their mission is vital to the growth of the church. We need more pastors to replace those who are retiring. There is a great need. The world is dying to hear the Gospel. Please provide your support where you can. Encourage those in the ministry and those considering entering the ministry. Be a great blessing to them. Pass it on through sharing His Word and by living a life rooted in the Gospel message!
