Follow in the grace of Jesus each day...

16:20 Romans “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you." (NIV)

Paul finishes off this letter by requesting that the grace of Jesus be with you. It is a great and fitting ending. It provides the best of all blessings. It gives a sense of completeness to the message. It reminds us ALL that we are here by grace. We know that God will crush Satan in those final days. It will happen just as God has promised. Our salvation and our days with Him in heaven are only because of His great grace shown to us. Thank Him daily for that grace.

you can pass along this verse final verse from Romans in this series to family and friends and co-workers in His kingdom by copying this blog post or the link to this page. Ask how they like to say goodbye to loved ones. Ask what words bring them the most comfort and peace when parting from family and friends. Consider their responses. Share with them how Paul responds and why sharing the grace of Jesus Christ is a great way to part company. It reminds us that we will meet again and that we will be together…forever. Remember to Take Time For God’s Word© at 16:20 (4:20 pm) or as you say goodbye to family or friends, then think about this verse. This may be a verse card that you copy into your photos and file in under the Favorite verses album. Like so many other verses, it helps us to recall the goodness of God and His great love for us. It causes us to think. It causes us to act. It reminds us to pray and to say ‘thanks’ to God more often. We all need to do that more. Make that a habit now and a continuing habit into 2019 and beyond.

We expand our prayers to include Christians at all of our public colleges and universities. The secular institutions often seem to be anti-Christian in some of their actions or policies. Students and faculty often feel pressured about their faith. They want to show the love of Christ in how they live yet are aware that they will be confronted frequently because of their trust in Jesus. Encourage them. Support them. Help them wherever they need help. We need to keep Christ’s name alive on our campuses and in the minds of our youth who will be the leaders of tomorrow. Stay blessed. Pass it on with the passion of Paul to everyone…everywhere!
