Let your attitude be like that of Christ!

15:05 Romans “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had," (NIV)

Paul reminds us that to build each other up in faith may take some time. For some of us, it takes a LONG time. So, Paul asks that we receive ‘endurance and encouragement’ along the way so that we develop ‘the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had’. That attitude was one of service… caring… supporting… healing… and sacrificing. Is that your attitude towards others? If not, there is time for a change to an attitude-of-gratitude. Serve others as you would serve Him, with a grateful heart and soul.

You can pass along this verse to family, friends, and neighbors by sharing this blog post or the link to this page. Ask if they ever could use more endurance each day or if they could use a little encouragement. Ask if they try to encourage others around them. Remind them that we should serve others with the same attitude of mind that Christ has for us. Always, Take Time For God’s Word(c) at 15:05 (3:05 pm) or as you check your energy level, then recall this verse to pray for endurance. This verse may be a good Reminder at 3:05 pm (15:05) with the title of ‘attitude of mind’ so that you can do a “checkup-from-the-neck-up” (as Zig Ziglar would say). See that your attitude towards others reflects the same love and concern that Christ has shown to you. Reflect His light on them. It will brighten their day and their lives.

We continue to pray for all of the Christian preschools and schools across the country. It reflects a huge commitment from parents, faculty, and congregations to support Christian education. It is a financial commitment. It is a family commitment. It is a spiritual commitment. Offer your encouragement to all who are involved. Support them where you can. Be a blessing to them. Thank them for keeping Christ as a core part of education. Pass it on with encouragement and through your endurance in sharing the Good News.
