In this chapter, Paul helps us to see that there may be some differences in how we live our lives. We have some choices. God gives us certain freedoms. We need to understand and respect that in others. Paul also states that once we are under God’s care, we also have the best of all possibilities. Nothing can ever separate us from Him. We are His now… AND forever! It just doesn’t get any better than that!
You can pass along this verse to family and friends by copying this blog post or by sharing the link to this page. Ask if they need to make choices at work or around their house. Ask if they need to weigh the options and consequences of those choices each day. Let them know that being part of God’s family, we are with Him whether we live or whether we die. Nothing can separate us from His love. Then, Take Time For God’s Word(c) at 14:08 (2:08 pm) or as you face choices each day, recall this verse. You may want to associate this verse with the phrase ‘life-or-death’ decisions. There are times when people need to make those in an emergency. Those are frightening times, yet when we know that we are in God’s hands, we know that it will all work for our good. That should give us great comfort and assurance in everything that we do. Stay close to Him!!
