Isaiah again foreshadows what God has planned for the people of Israel when they are reconciled back to God. There will be new things ahead for us… spectacular new things. Our sins and mistakes will be forgiven and will be left behind… never to be remembered again. What a great relief… no past mistakes to haunt us… no hurtful words to regret… no broken promises… we will all be made new in Him. What a great day that will be. Be there! It will be worth it all!
Share the link or a copy of this blog to give this verse to family and friends. Ask what ‘new’ thing they are hoping for at Christmas. Ask how long it will be until it is replaced by something even ‘newer’. Tell them about the blessings that we receive from God. His mercies are new every day. He is preparing a place for us with Him and it will be truly ‘new’! We will stand in awe of Him and His love and mercy. Invite others to come to know Him. We want everyone to experience that eternal place. Now, Take Time For God’s Word© and remember this verse whenever you see or get something ‘new’. Know that God’s grace is new daily and that He loves you. Let that sink in. You are dearly loved by God. You are the child of a King. We are part of the family of God. Those promises should bring you great comfort and peace. Now, share that same love and joy with others that you meet. Rejoice!!
We pray for the homeless and for all of the groups and organizations who provide food and shelter to those who are living on the streets. We pray for Pacific Garden Missions (Chicago, IL) and their great service to those in such dire need. They feed and support hundreds upon hundreds of people each week. They share God’s love and God’s Word with those who come in. They are truly a life-line to so many who find themselves truly lost and so often alone. Support them if you can. Be the blessing to others who have such needs. Help the poor and needy with the love of Christ. Stay blessed. Pass it on to show those without hope that Christ has made all things new…for them!!
