Depend on God for your strength…

58:11 Isaiah “The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.” (NLT)

Here Isaiah tells the people of Israel just how close God wants to be to them. He wants to lead them. He wants to guide them. He wants to provide for ALL of their needs. He wants to do the same for us today. Do you look to His Word to help guide you through life or are you ‘just winging it’ each day? Learn to trust in Him. He will not fail. He will lead you to a great life now… and forever!

You can advance this verse to all those who need some extra encouragement in life by copying this blog or sharing the link to this page with them. Ask if they have ever had a guide on a trip or tour. Ask if they trusted that the guide knew where they were going. Remind them that God wants to guide us on the right path through our lives. He wants to point out things to do and things to avoid. He sent Jesus to be ‘the way, the truth, and the life’ that we follow. Pray with and for such friends. Then, Take Time For God’s Word© daily. Use the words in the verses to help guide your thoughts and your actions. Put His love into action by serving and helping others. You will find great purpose and calling in those actions. Be the light of the world! Shine on for Him!

Our prayers again reach out to those affected by the wildfires raging in California and those still recovering from recent hurricanes. A friend from our church goes out on a disaster support team. He has been out a lot lately. He tells of simple acts of love and kindness and how grateful the people are. It is challenging work but oh so rewarding to show His love to those in such great need. Show your support as well. Be a blessing wherever you can be. Pass it on through words of encouragement and acts of love.
