Isaiah tries to get the attention of the people of Israel. He reminds them that they need to be in-tune with God’s Word and they need to listen to what He is teaching them. Good advice. We need to follow it as well. With all of the ‘noise’ around us… TV… radios… music… talking… blah, blah, blah… you get the picture, it is really hard to listen… to really listen to what God is telling us. We need to listen with our ears and with our heart. Follow where He leads. You will find life… a life worth living fully every single day. Enjoy!!
Take a moment to copy this blog or the link to this page to pass along this verse to all of your social media friends. Ask them if they are tired of all of the political attack ads on the TV. Ask if they just tune them out when the come on TV again, and again, and again. Tell them not to tune-out God. His message is of love and joy and peace. He speaks to us through His Word. That is why we focus on it. We want to carry it in our mind and in our hearts daily. So, please continue to Take Time For God’s Word© often each day. It may be by repeating a favorite verse. It may be by reciting one of the Psalms. It may be an insightful Proverb. God has given us great instruction for life… we would be foolish not to use His Word to guide us each day. Try it! It really does lead to a better life in Him!
Pray for all of the Christian schools and pre-schools. We need a place where we can learn and pray and speak the name of Jesus freely. We need to teach that to our children. We need to practice it in our homes. We need to encourage each other in the faith. May that be your practice each day. Thank and support those who are part of the teaching ministry in your church.
