Ask God to teach our children…

54:13 Isaiah “I will teach all your children, and they will enjoy great peace.” (NLT)

We all want the best for our children. We sacrifice to provide for them… food… clothing… schools… safe home… medical needs… social activities… and we need to also help them to know God and His Son, Jesus. When we introduce children to God and the Bible at an early age, they see it as part of everyday life and family activities. Prayer is just our communications with God. From that introduction, God can play a great role in helping them to learn about His love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness. In knowing Him, they will find peace in their hearts and lives now and always. Share the best with them… share Jesus!

You can copy this blog or the link to this page to give this verse to close family and friends. Ask them what is the one thing they want most for their children to learn. Ask how they expect that their kids (or grandkids) will learn it. Tell them about the many ways that God helps you to learn each day. Let them know any new opportunities that may be available for them to share with their children. Make it a part of their life-long learning about God. There is ALWAYS something new to learn and to be inspired about in His Word. Remember to Take Time For God’s Word© throughout your day and to share what you are learning with others. It may be favorite verse. It may be great words to a Christian song. It may be a ‘life-lesson’. It may be a story about other Christians and their witness to their friends. Be great at sharing… then be doubly blessed when others start sharing back to you. By knowing His Word, you will know great peace. Enjoy that perfect peace in Him.

Please continue to pray for all of the Sunday School teachers and leaders within your church or fellowship group. These women and men devote themselves to sharing the Bible and the Bible stories with children of all ages. They work to make the stories come alive. They work to make the time have meaning… not just for the day but for the child’s whole life. It can be a thankless task. It can involve hours of preparations with only a few kids coming to class. Thank them. THANK YOU! If that is or was part of your mission in life. Well Done!! Stay blessed. Pass it on to all the children and help to grow the next generations of Christians in our world.
