This political season will come to an end soon. There will be many changes, as there always are. Then the next political season will begin. Far too often, it is promises made and promises broken. That is NOT the case with our God. Throughout the ups and downs in our lives, His love and blessings and mercy continue to come to us…through no merit of our own efforts. He is faithful. He is true. He keeps you in His care. Remember to thank and praise Him often for that great love for us!
Please give this verse to family, friends, and neighbors. Ask what changes happening in your area frighten them the most. Ask if there are any changes which truly excite them. Listen carefully to their response. Share with them the fact that the faithful love of God reaches them each day. He shares His blessings and mercy upon us always. Amid the great changes in our lives, He remains constant… reliable…relevant… and true. Stay close to Him! Please Take Time For God’s Word© each day and learn more about His grace and mercy. If you live near the mountains or hills, imagine that they disappeared… gone for good, then recall this verse and the steady love of God in your life. When you recognize a blessing that came your way, think of this verse and His covenant of blessings upon you. Take a moment… just a moment to give Him thanks. An 'attitude-of-gratitude' will make any day go better and it will make your life go great!
Our prayers now extend to all of the youth ministers and youth leaders in our congregations. The temptations and trials of our youth today are far greater than ever. There are so many distractions. There are so many options on how they spend their time. We need to support and encourage our youth ministers to continue to engage and challenge our young people to a life filled with Christ. It will have eternal consequences. We cannot lose the next generation to the temptations of the world. It will take ALL of us and the help of God to encourage our youth to live for Jesus. Do your part. Be a blessing to them. Show His love to them in all that you do. Pass it on so that His love grows deeply in the hearts and lives of the youth.
