How will you be remembered?

53:09 Isaiah “He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man's grave.“ (NLT)

Isaiah gives many accurate predictions about the ‘suffering servant’ that Jesus would fulfill in His life and through His death. God’s plan for our salvation was revealed to the prophets hundreds of years in advance. That is how much He loved us. He wanted to send the only one who could live a perfect life and who could then take our sins upon Himself on the cross. Offer Him the thanksgiving and praise that Jesus deserves each day. It is the best thing that could have happened for us. Now, share that same Good News with others.

Please forward this verse to family, friends, and co-workers for Christ. Ask if they have ever thought about what people will say at their funeral. Ask if they are concerned about what may be remembered of them. Let them know there is still time to change. Let them know that Christ can make a huge difference for them. Their focus on Him will impact many others… for good. It will be noticed… it will be remembered. Then, Take Time For God’s Word© daily as part of a regular Bible study or devotional time. If you pass by a cemetery, you may recall this verse. Jesus was in a borrowed grave but He wasn’t there long. Be reminded of the plans that God has for you each day. Know that time is slipping away. Take action now. Share His Word. Show His love. Be His servant each day. It will make a difference… forever.

Please pray for all of the ministers, pastors, and lay leaders in our churches and fellowship groups. Surround them with your support and let them know that you are praying for them. They are often dealing with all the problems that people bring to them. It can be overwhelming. They want to be there for everyone’s needs but they also need their rest and time with God. Care for them and their families. Bless them so they can be a blessing to many others. Pass it on through every act of kindness and love that you can provide…and let those deeds be retold long after you are gone.
