Jesus paid for your sins…with His life!

53:05 Isaiah “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.“ (NLT)

What if ALL of the bad things you have ever said and done were listed for everyone to see? What if the punishment for all of those offenses were added up and a prison term was set to include them all? Then, what if someone offered to serve that term for you and then you would be given a clean slate… a fresh start… a new life. How grateful would you be to that person? So, how grateful are you to Jesus because He has done that (and more) for you. Offer your thanks and praise each day as you live free from the bondage of sin. He paid the price for your freedom!

You will want to pass along this verse to family, friends, and especially to your neighbors by copying this blog post or the link to this page. Ask if they were ever punished for something that they did. Ask if they would have liked it if someone else took their place for that punishment. Share with them what Jesus did on the cross. Let them know that He has taken ALL the pain and punishment upon Himself. He even died to take away those sins. Always Take Time For God’s Word© daily and throughout the day as you check the time, think of a verse. If you see someone being punished today, then recall this verse and how Jesus took the punishment for our sins. People still need to hear and to understand that message. You be the one to tell them!

Our prayers extend to the many great organizations which provide and support global missions work. We pray for World Vision (Federal Way, WA) for the work they do to support the poorest communities with education, water, food, medical assistance, and so much more. I enjoy getting their Christmas catalog each year and ordering several items which are then delivered to people with great needs half-way around the world. I get great joy from doing that. Continue to support these types of organizations. Be a great blessing to those in need. Pass it on with gratitude for the love of Christ and what He has done for us!
