Go tell it on the mountains!!

52:07 Isaiah “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!“ (NLT)

We seem to be a nation of ‘the news’. We have dozens of ‘news’ programs on our cable channels and on our radio stations. Much of the ‘news’ which they share is bad news… crime… politics… extreme weather events… accidents… etc. Occasionally there is a story of kindness or acts of generosity. Those are truly ‘news’ because they happen so rarely. Yet, we have Good News to tell. His love and His mercy are new every day. Christ died to make us new in Him. It is a story of the lost who are found. It tells of the dead who are now alive again. It tells about people who are set free from their sins. Now that IS Good News. Share it often with all of those around you. They need to hear Good News for a change.

You can deliver this verse of Good News to friends, neighbors and family wherever they are just by copying this blog or this link and sending it to them. Ask if they see many good news stories on TV. Ask how those stories made them feel. Tell them about the Good News of Jesus and His great love for them. Share with them what He has done for you. Let them know ALL that He has done for them. Pray with and for others. Repeat the Good News often. It is the only News that lasts… forever. Remember to Take Time For God’s Word© so that you have new verses to share with your friends. It will be quite a contrast to the bad news that they hear elsewhere. Be known as a person who is cheerful and helpful. Let His light shine through you. They will see a difference. They will see the love of Christ in you. You may be the only Bible that people will see today. You can be the Good News that people long to hear!!

We again pray for all of the first responder organizations like the Red Cross who go into the worst situations to provide help and care for those in dire need. They have MANY volunteers who pack up and go whenever there is an emergency or disaster. They do not know what they will be needed for BUT they do know they will be needed there. What courage. What love. What caring. Thank them for that service. Support those organizations. Be a great blessing wherever you are. Pass it on by sharing the great Good News with everyone that you meet.
