Isaiah often reminds the people of Israel and Judah that they are not forgotten by God. It is a reminder that we all need. We seem to get caught up in the moment of busy-ness… politics… work… family activities… sports… etc. At the end of the day, we see that we just did not have time for God. How sad! He has such great plans for us and blessings in store for us. We miss those things when we focus on ourselves and not on Him. He ALWAYS has us on His mind and He holds us in His hand. Set your thoughts on Him and see what a great difference it can make in you!
You can send along this verse to friends on social media by copying this blog or by sharing the link to this page. Ask if they have ever seen people with tattoos of names on their arms or hands. Ask if they would ever do that for someone they loved. Listen to their response. Remind them that God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to die in our place for ALL of our sins. He knows each of us and He loves us still. Let them know that. Help them to see His love in you. Then, Take Time For God’s Word© daily in gratitude to Him and to get to know Him better through His Word. Today, take a pen and write the name of a loved one on your hand. It can be in small letters. Then each time you open your hand, you will see that name. Pray for them. Give thanks for them. Know that God is watching over them. And, recall this verse and the fact that God is ALWAYS watching over you! He will NEVER forget you!
Our monthly prayer cycle starts with our prayers of thanks and protection for all of the women and men who bravely serve in our military, at home or around the world. We pray for all the veterans who have ever served our country in this way. THANK YOU! You have shown great courage, loyalty, selflessness, and love for your fellow citizens and for your country. You have defended the freedoms which we enjoy. We greatly appreciate your service to all of us! Stay blessed in all that you do. Pass it on through hands of service and deeds of love.
