What has God revealed to you?

40:05 Isaiah “Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all people will see it together. The LORD has spoken!” (NLT)

Isaiah tells of a time when mountains will be leveled and valleys raised up… a time when the rough places will be made smooth. Then we will see the ‘glory of the Lord’. As we approach the time of Christmas, we will again hear the songs and read the words about the coming of Christ. Yet, we know that He also comes to live in our hearts and our lives each day. We get to experience that always… and forever!

You can forward this verse to family, friends and neighbors by copying this blog or the link to it and putting it in an email to them. Ask if they have any new family traditions at Christmas time each year. Ask why those are so meaningful to them. For most of us, it is because we experience it together… surrounded by our loved ones. We already received the greatest gift EVER… Jesus came for us! Now, it is our turn to share that message with those who do not yet know Him. Pass it on each day! Continue to Take Time For God’s Word© and through any verses which come to mind each day. It is a way to be close to God through His Word and it only takes a few minutes at a time. You may have them on your phone. You may see them taped to your mirror or on your refrigerator. Take a moment to repeat them. See what God has planned for you today! It will be awesome… if you will just follow His plan!

We pray for all of the refugees around the world and for organizations like Exodus World Services (Park Ridge, IL) whose mission is to meet the needs of many of these refugees. I was pleased to see that an assignment in my grand-daughter’s 5th grade social studies was about a refugee center halfway around the world. The assignment asked them to comment about the impact of such a center in the lives of the people (and especially of the children) there. It is a lesson that we ALL need to think about often. It is an opportunity for each of us to support. Share where you can. Stay blessed to be a blessing. Pass it on through generous acts of love and kindness daily!
