Let your focus be on God first!

25:01 Isaiah “LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.” (NIV)

We have skipped over many chapters from Isaiah which were all about prophesies against the kings and kingdoms who had persecuted the tribes of Israel. They remind us that God will judge people for their actions and they will suffer for their unbelief. Our focus is on God… our God… the one who is for us… the one who loved us enough to redeem us… the one that we can turn to in ALL situations and circumstances… the one who will see us through it ALL and who will bring us to Himself in eternity. Keep that as your focus and you will see the world in a whole new way. Let Him guide your path and fulfill His plans in and through you!!

You can pass along this verse to your closest family and Christian friends by sending them this blog post or the link to this page. Ask how they start each day…first thing when they wake up. Ask how long they have been doing that and how that has helped them to begin the day. Then you can tell them about how you start your day. My first thoughts as I open my eyes are from Psalm 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it”(ESV). It puts my heart at ease and makes my focus on Him. (And, yes, I then go get some coffee.) Now, you can Take Time For God’s Word any time during the day. For this verse at 25:01 Isaiah, you can link the 25 to a quarter as 25 cents. When you are putting change in your pocket or purse, when you get to the quarters, think of 25… 25:01 Isaiah and you will know that it truly is In God We Trust”. You may find other ways to recall this verse. Keep it close at hand, top of mind, and deep in your heart. He will NOT leave you or fail you as you trust in Him fully.

Our deepest prayers go out to all of the organizations dedicated to world missions outreach like World Vision (Federal Way, WA). They touch the lives of tens of thousands of children and families in some of the poorest regions of the world. They give hope and help and healing through food, education, clean water, medical supplies and so much more. Support these organizations where you can. Volunteer to help in them. Share their message with your friends and family. Lives are changed because of their acts of Christian love for others. Stay blessed…be a blessing. Pass it on intentionally each day!
