In our praise, we are also to sing to the Lord. Singing is a wonderful gift. Its words and music can blend to melt your heart… bring you to tears… exalt your spirit… and bring you such joy that you are humming and singing that song all day long. Now that is real singing! I do pray that you have some songs in your heart that are just too good to keep there and that you are singing often during the day. When others ask why are you so happy… go ahead and tell them all of the excellent things that God has done for you! And, keep on singing His praises… until He comes again!
Copy this blog post or the link to forward this verse to ALL of your friends, family, and neighbors. Ask if they have a favorite song. Ask why that song is so special to them and have them sing the chorus to you (if they are brave enough). Share with them your favorite Christian hymn or praise song. Tell them why it is meaningful to you. When I hear a great Christian group or set of songs, I buy several copies of the CD. I then pass them on to others to let them be blessed by that same music and testimony. Keep on singing!! Then, Take Time For God’s Word at 12:05 am or pm or as you recall a favorite song, then repeat this verse. You could print out this verse card and tape it to your bathroom mirror. Let it remind you to start your day in songs of praise and just keep them going to the last AMEN of the day. Your joy will be contagious. You have no idea how many people you will impact by sharing the ‘joy of the Lord’ in songs each day. Start today!
We keep in our prayers ALL of those volunteers with the Red Cross and other early responder organizations which have been working tirelessly helping out those in disasters from California to the Carolinas. Such major events cause months and months of support. Imagine if you lost everything…what would you do? Who would help you? How grateful would you be? Now you can provide such help and support through these relief agencies. Be that blessing. Share where you can. Pass it on to those who now must rebuild their lives with the help of God.
