Do nothing that is unjust to others…

10:01 Isaiah “Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees,” (NIV)

Woe. Isaiah uses that word a LOT! He knows the power of God. He knows the sins of the people. He knows that God cannot tolerate those sins yet the people refuse to change. He knows that God will act. That is why he says “Woe”! There will be great sadness, pain, suffering, separation, and punishment for those who reject the grace and gift which God offers to them. That is why our message is so critical today. We want ALL to know the grace and love of God. Keep sharing His love!!

Please send this verse to close family and friends. Ask if they feel that there are unjust laws in our society today. Ask which ones and why they feel that way. We need to work with others to ensure that we promote fairness and justice. We need to know God’s Word and His plans to help guide and direct those who can set or influence these laws. Always Take Time For God’s Word at 10:01 am or pm or when you hear about a new law, then recall this verse. Be a person that supports our laws which govern people fairly. Help to challenge or amend laws which do not treat people fairly. Your voice will be heard. Your message of love and hope will be noticed by others. Speak the truth in love!

We pray for all of those who are a part of our prison system… guards, prisoners, families of inmates or families of victims. There is pain and suffering for those how committed crimes and for those who are impacted by those crimes. Families are disrupted. Lives are lost or changed as an result of the crime. Justice may be served but we also need to have room for forgiveness and reconciliation. Support all who are affected. Share the love of Christ. Be a blessing to them. Pass it on to give healing and hope to those who are still grieving.
