God provides for His people!

7:14 Isaiah “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” (NIV)

Isaiah often speaks words of condemnation and judgment on the people of Israel as they had lost sight of God’s plans for them. At other times, Isaiah gives words of reassurance and promise of what God has planned for His people…they will receive a Messiah. God will provide a way of salvation for them. It will come at just the right time. It will come in a humble way. It will come in a unique way. And it did!! Jesus came into our world and gave us a path to God. Seek Him. Find Him. Follow Him… forever!

You can give this verse as an early view of Christmas to family, friends, and neighbors by sending the link to this page. Ask if they have started their Christmas shopping for this year. Ask what they like most about Christmas. Let them know that Immanuel means ‘God with us’. That is what Christ came to be… with us as our Savior and our Friend. Always Take Time For God’s Word at 7:14 am or pm or as you Christmas displays in stores (yes, already), then remember our verse. We are starting to get Christmas presents delivered to our home from some early online shopping. We love our family and we can’t wait to give them these special gifts. God loved us SO MUCH that He gave us the best gift of all… His only son, Jesus. You can receive that gift anytime. AND you can share His love with others all the time. Do that daily!!

Today our focused prayers are for all of the Christian led causes around the world. I often highlight the We Raise Foundation (Itasca, IL) that provides seed money to startup Christian causes. It provides support and leadership to help them get established. Then it does that again and again. What a great ministry and blessing to so many through the years. Support them where you can. Stay blessed in all that you do. Pass it on through His gift of love to us… Jesus!!
