If God asked you…yes, YOU… to talk to someone about what Christ has done…would you GO? It is not a hypothetical question. God is asking each of us to GO and tell others about Jesus. Just as Isaiah heard the call AND responded, we have that same opportunity. We don’t need to go around the world… it may be next door! It may be to friends who are coming to see you. It means that you are willing to share a verse or a story or an experience that talks about Christ to someone else. Commit to it again… “Here am I. Send me!”
Please pass along this verse to family, friends, and co-workers for the Kingdom through a post or a link. Ask if they have ever gone door-to-door for Cub Scouts, Girls Scout cookies, etc. for one of your kids or grandkids. Ask if they felt self-conscious about it or was it a fun experience. Then, realize that what we offer has eternal benefits…and it is a free gift given to us by God. You will want to share this Good News often! Continue to Take Time For God’s Word at 6:08 am or pm or as you ‘send’ any email, then recall this verse and how to send it on to others. Set this as a Reminder on your phone at 6:08 pm with the title, “Here am I. Send me!” We have so many options to share the Gospel around the world… just pick one that works for you. It may be through a phone call, an email, or on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. Those may start the discussion. I like to share verses and how to recall them…(and hopefully you do, too!). Take the time to pick a person and let them know what speaks to you about Christ. You will do great!
We now focus on prayers for ALL of our government officials and leaders. There are MANY issues and needs which require attention and thoughtful/ prayerful solutions. Let those leaders know that you are praying for them! Share what you want for them know why certain issues are important. They need to see that people care and what they care about. Be a blessing to them. Plan to vote in the upcoming elections. Your voice needs to be heard. Pass it on with love and support for our government officials and for our country.
