Get rid of all unclean speech!

6:05 Isaiah “Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.” (NIV)

Most often, it is our words that get us into trouble. It is what we said. It is how we said it. AND it is to all of the various people that we told those words to. Does that describe you, too? Isaiah felt that he was not worthy to speak the good words of God because of the many bad words or inappropriate speech in his life. Yet, God can touch our lips and can put into our minds and hearts new words which will bring hope and healing. Speak those good and kind words to others that you know. Do it today!

Let these words speak volumes to others that you know on social media or in your email lists by sending them a copy of this blog or the link to this page and site. Ask if others would say that they have ‘unclean lips’ or ‘inappropriate speech’. Ask if people trust their message when they don’t trust their speech. Let them know that Christ came so that we may be healed and restored to God. Help them to seek that relationship with Jesus. They will be forever grateful that they did. Next, Take Time For God’s Word at 6:05 am or pm or as you hear bad language or gossip, then think of this verse. We all need to be mindful of what we say…what we use as our words…what we mean…and how others will then react because of those words. Always let your words be true and sweet. Let them be words of love that others will want to repeat and share with their friends. Be that blessing!

We specifically focus our prayers today on our family and friends. Are they on your pray list everyday? Do you focus on the needs of each person as you lift them up before God? It is such a privilege to pray for these special people which God has placed into our lives. We want the best for them. We want them to be loved and cared for. We want them to be safe and secure. That is why we should be praying for them often each day. Keep them in mind whenever you seek God’s favor and love. Tell them that you are praying for them. Pass it on to them by sharing new verses and insights to God’s plans for you! Be blessed!!
