What if there were no more wars?

2:04 Isaiah “He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.” (NIV)

Isaiah tells of a time when people will follow the Lord’s commands and when they can live in peace. It changes their attitudes and their actions. They retool their weapons of war to use them in peaceful activities. They stop recruiting and training for war. It is hard for us to even imagine such a time. It would take a massive revival among the people. We can all pray that such a day will come and we should continue to strive for peace. Let His love win!!

Copy this link or this blog post and send on this verse friends and family on your email list. Ask if they ever heard this verse before. Ask if they can imagine such a time when there would be no more wars. There were brief periods of such peace but the people always reverted to their own ways and sin took its toll on the people. Pray for peace once again. Always Take Time For God’s Word at 2:04 am or pm or as you see garden or farming tools, then recall this verse. You may want to print out this verse card and keep it on your desk or bulletin board. It is worth recalling the great desire that we have for peace among nations. Continue to encourage fellow Christians to stay closer to God’s Word. Invite your friends and family to join in receiving these daily posts on Facebook. We appreciate all of your ongoing support!

Our prayers also go out to all of the many Foster Care programs and families around the country. There are still many children in foster care hoping for a family to welcome them into their home. It is such a lonely feeling for them. They have much to offer a family. They could be an added blessing if given a chance. Please consider opening your home and your heart to these children. Support these programs in anyway that you can. You will be greatly blessed by it. Pass it on through unselfish acts of love and kindness each day.
