Christ has risen, just as He said!

28:06 Matthew “He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” (NIV)

Jesus was NOT in the tomb. He had risen! All that He said would come true DID come true. Therefore, His promises about us and our eternal relationship with Him will also come true. We can bet our lives on it… and we do by proclaiming Him as our Lord and Savior. It is a message which never grows old. It is fresh each time we tell it. It gives us the same hope…and joy… and comfort… and peace. We know that Jesus is trustworthy. Stay close to His Word each day!

I would encourage you to send along this message to all of your friends on social media by copying the link to this blog post. Ask when was the last time they heard this verse. Ask if it was at Easter or was it even before that. We need to help share the Good News to all that we meet. It is the only way that we know of that leads to heaven. We want all of our friends and family to be there forever. Please Take Time For God’s Word often each day. So, for some, maybe you remember math problems… so 2 taken from 8 is 6… (28:06). However you can relate to this verse, think of it often and be thankful for that announcement…’He has risen’!!

Our prayers go out to all of the Christian colleges and universities around the country and around the world. Classes have resumed for the school year. Students and faculty have begun their work to share in an education that includes a focus on the love of God through Christ. It is important to shape our thinking by maintaining a Biblical view and principles. Our world needs that more than ever. Encourage those at these schools. Be a blessing to them. Support these institutions. Stay blessed. Pass it on by rejoicing that ‘He has risen’!
