Are you looking for the empty tomb?

28:05 Matthew “The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.” (NIV)

It was two Mary’s that first went to the tomb. They wanted to properly prepare the body of Christ. They were concerned about how they would get past the stone. They found an angel at the entrance with the stone rolled away. They were frightened. They were confused. They were in awe of what they saw. Jesus should still cause us to be in awe of what He did on the cross for us. No tomb could hold Him. We have that same power because of Him!

Please forward this message to all of your family, friends and neighbors. Ask if they would have been in awe at the open tomb. Ask if they would have understood what had happened. The women were the first to witness the resurrection. They told the others. We are still telling others about that miracle. Share it today. Then, Take Time For God’s Word and recall 28:05 and the women encountering an angel. Be looking for Jesus in verses, thoughts, and actions. Let His love shine through you each day. Let others ask, “Why are you doing this?” and then be prepared to give a witness to the love and grace of Christ. Be blessed in all that you say and do!

We extend prayers for all of the doctors, physicians, PA’s, nurses, lab technicians, etc. who provide us with care and support during times of illness, accidents, or diseases. We pray for those physicians who go the extra mile and serve in Doctors Without Borders (New York, NY) or other medical mission groups. They give freely of their time and talents to help others in great need. Thank them. Support that mission. Stay blessed in your calling for Christ. Pass it on by giving an awesome testimony of His love!
