Pharisees went to Pilate again. They did not want anyone to take the body of Jesus and then claim that He was raised from the dead. If that happened, MANY would believe in Him. Pilate agreed to post guards at the tomb. They sealed it shut. They thought it would stop Jesus plan. It did NOT. It could NOT. Nothing can stop the power of the resurrection. It is the great Good News! It will be told and lived and shared from now until eternity… as long as we keep sharing it with others. Spread the Word. Jesus is alive and living in your heart!
Copy this blog or this link to put in an email and to route this message to family, friends and co-workers in His kingdom. Ask if they thought a sealed tomb would be enough to hold Jesus. Ask if they would have done the same if they were in Pilate’s place. We often try to keep Jesus contained and sealed away. We need to let Him take full control of our lives. Let Him lead you each day to a life worth living for Him! Take Time For God’s Word often and think of 27:66 and how people tried to limit the power of Christ. Let Him act freely in your life. Follow His plans. Share His love. See with His eyes the needs around you. Act unselfishly. Give generously. Care passionately. You will enjoy even greater blessings and you will be a great blessing to others!! Release the love of Christ today!
Let us pray for all of the hospitals and clinics in our areas. Pray for all of those who serve there AND those who receive care and healing there. We live in an amazing time. We can receive care and healing for things that were deadly in the past. We can live longer. We can experience less pain and suffering. Share your appreciation to all who work in those settings. Yet, we know that we need spiritual healing as well. Continue daily in His Word. Know it deep within your heart. Experience it in your daily living and sharing with those around you.
