The skies grew dark. It was mid-day. The earth quaked and rocks were split open. Tombs were opened up. People had never seen such signs before. It even caused the Roman soldiers who were guarding over Jesus to respond that “he was the Son of God!” Jesus had given up His spirit. He breathed His last breaths in this life. Yet, it was only the beginning of what happened next. We are still seeing the mystery and the miracles unfold as we KNOW that Jesus is alive and is interceding for us to God. He is preparing to meet us when He comes again. What a great reunion that will be!!
Please plan to send on this verse to all of your family, friends and co-workers in His kingdom by copying the blog or the link to this page for an email to them. Ask if they have ever been in an earthquake. Ask how that made them feel. Guards saw it all and concluded that He was the Son of God. Help others to see that as well. Please Take Time For God’s Word often and recall 27:54 and that people saw He was who He claimed to be. The whole world trembled at His passing. It was a day that the world has NEVER forgotten. We mourn each Good Friday and we Rejoice each Easter. We give thanks daily for His great love!! When you think of 27 then double it to get 54 (27:54)… be creative on recalling this verse.
We now pray for all of the nursing homes or assisted living centers. There are many caring people at these places to help assist loved ones go through special or long-term medical needs. It is our task to help the patients, care-givers, and families to make the most of their situations. It may be a challenge but we know that God can help us through it. Stay blessed and then make it a point to pass it on to others as well!
