Angels are closer than you know…

26:53 Matthew “Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?” (NIV)

Jesus speaks to the disciples. He isn’t looking for them to fight for Him. Jesus could ask for an army of angels. If a legion is about 5000 soldiers, then He could have had 60,000 angels protect Him. That would be more than enough to withstand the entire Roman army. Yet, His battle was with Satan and against sin. He paid the price for ALL of our sins… past, present, and future. He did so willingly because of His great love for us. We now have the chance to live for Him. Enjoy that grace each day!!

Let them know that Jesus knew the power of angels. Yet, he took on the weight of sin and died in our place. Continue to thank Him for that great sacrifice.
