Jesus wants us to be ready. He wants us not to be fooled. He doesn’t want us to be complacent about what will be happening. Therefore, He tells us the signs and types of events which we will see just as the end times come upon this world. Some statements are general. Some are specific. All are meant to inform and alert us to be ready for the problems that await mankind in those last days. Are you ready? If you know Jesus as Savior and Friend, then you are well positioned whenever those days may come. Watch for His return!
You can copy the link to this post or copy the blog to route this verse to Christian family and friends. Ask if they are at all anxious about the end times. Ask why and how they are preparing for it. Remind them that only God knows when that day will be, yet we should be ready for His sudden return. It should also encourage us to keep witnessing and sharing His love with others. We do not want anyone to be lost without Christ. Continue to Take Time For God’s Word each day and remember 24:25 as a verse of warning. In Him we have no fear. In Him we have our only hope. Therefore let us thank Him and praise Him until He comes again!
Our prayers go out to all of the refugees around the world who are displaced or who needed to flee from danger or death in their own countries. We pray for Exodus World Service (Park Ridge, IL) and their great support in helping the needs of refugees get their legal status and placement. There are so many Christians who help with that effort. They show the love of Christ to those who are coming through a crisis. Thanks to all of you who share in that type of support. Pass it on by building relationships with compassionate people who are examples of Christ’s love in action.
