Jesus wants ALL of His disciples to know that the Good News of the Gospel must reach the whole world and all of the nations in the world before the end will come. With modern communications technology, cell phones, the Internet, and countless missionaries, we are reaching more people than ever before. Yet, evil still persists. People still pursue worthless passions and gods. We need to stay focused on His plan and His mission daily!
Copy this blog or the link and put it in an email to present this verse to family, friends, and neighbors. Ask if they believe that Christianity is gaining or losing ground. Ask why they feel that way and what can be done to change that. Listen to their thoughts and insights. We need to encourage each other. We need to partner with other Christians. We need to put God’s priorities ahead of our own agendas. Be blessed in doing that today! Then Take Time For God’s Word throughout the day and remember 24:14 as a verse that states our mission. Remember that we have the Good News… it is the only thing that will last. It can and does change people’s hearts and lives. It is the only answer to address the evil and hate that we see on a daily basis. You are on the winning side. Live like it!!
In the heat of the summer, we often forget that there are daily needs in our soup kitchens and our local food banks. Hunger never quits. Hot weather or cold weather, the needs are continuing for so many people. September is Hunger Action Month. It will get lots of attention then, which is great. It needs lots of attention all of the time. Do what you can. Help if you can. Be blessed as you are blessing so many others. Pass it on through gifts of food and meals to those in great need.
