Jesus commented on the temple in Jerusalem and its coming destruction. The disciples wanted to know more about the end times and what to watch for. Jesus starts by sharing this verse. We have heard many doomsday dates come and go. We are still here! We need to be trusting in God’s plans and promises for us. We need to test those making great claims to see where they are getting their insights. Stay close to His Word. Then you will be close to the truth always!
Save this link or this blog to then give this verse to friends and family. Ask if they have heard any ‘end-of-world- dates’ before. Ask if that made them anxious or concerned. Tell them that only God knows that date. It is all in His loving hands. We can trust Him! Next, Take Time For God’s Word at 24:04 and as that is beyond our clock’s measurements, you can set it as a Reminder labelled ‘24:04 Matt: Watch out that no one deceives you.’ You can pick any time that you want it to pop up. It is a verse you will want to recall. With so much ‘fake’ in our world, we need to be careful about who or what we follow. Just know that when you follow Jesus, you have made the best possible choice. Stay true to Him and to His teachings. Then share it widely!
We will continue our prayers for ALL of the staff and workers at our schools. It takes principals, cooks, janitors, coaches, counselors, librarians, etc. to work together to help give our kids a quality education. There are so many dedicated staff working to do this. If that was or is your profession, THANK YOU!! We greatly appreciate that service and setting examples for future generations. Be sure to encourage those people still working. Say ‘thanks’ to them in person if you can. It will mean a lot as they prepare for a new school year. Stay blessed. Pass it on in words that others will remember for a lifetime… or more!
