When will you see Jesus?…

23:39 Matthew “For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'" (NIV)

Jesus spends a number of verses lamenting the fate of Jerusalem and so many people who have missed His message of love and forgiveness. They were stuck in trying to follow the rules and to be ‘good enough’ to reach heaven. We know that none of us can meet that standard on our own. We are saved by the blood of Christ and what He did for us on the cross. Jesus lets the Pharisees and all false teachers know that they will have a day of reckoning rather than rejoicing when Jesus comes again. They have missed the most important part of worship and that is to truly worship God and to serve Him alone.

Please copy this blog or this link to send along this verse to your family, friends, and co-workers in His kingdom. Ask if they see others who are missing the true message of the Gospel. Ask if they are trying to reach out to those people to help them to see Jesus. Remind them that in ALL that we say and do, we need to keep our focus on what God has done for us in Christ Jesus. It is the Gospel… plain and simple but it will last forever. Then, Take Time For God’s Word at 23:39 (11:39 pm) or as you see others who miss the Gospel message, recall this verse and ways to reach them. We should encourage one another in the faith with verses like this one. It states that Jesus is coming again. It states that there will be a judgement. We will all be called to account before the throne of God. We will have Jesus there to speak for us. What a great day that will be to be with Him forever.

As the ‘back-to-school’ ads are everywhere, we are reminded to pray for all of the teachers, aides, and helpers in our schools. Many are already getting things prepared for the coming school year. They want to be ready and they want to help the young children get the most out of their educational training. Be one who encourages our teachers and supports the schools in your area. Some of us have grown children already yet we can support our grandchildren and those families in our neighborhoods. Be a positive influence. Show His love and grace in all that you do. Be that blessing. Pass it on for the generations to come… until He comes again!
