Jesus describes a wedding feast. People are invited. They are called to attend. Yet, they seem to have excuses or other priorities… not the wedding feast. Is that us? Do we find other priorities over our time with God? Do we put aside His invitation for those things which do not last or satisfy in the end? Let us be ready for that great celebration with God. Let us stand ready to come when we are called. Let us put aside anything that would slow us down in our ministry for Christ. It is an event you DO NOT want to miss for the world!

Ask if they have ever made an excuse to miss a wedding celebration. Ask how that made them feel if they saw the couple at a later date. We all need to take the invitation of Christ seriously. It is a free gift to all who accept it. It is a limited time offer. None of us knows when our time is up here on earth. Continue to Take Time For God’s Word at 22:04 (10:04 pm) and if you receive an invitation, then consider this verse. Jesus teaches in parables because we can understand the stories. We can relate to the characters. We can even relate to the failings that He describes. Let us see the need to change and to ask for His forgiveness and grace. Set your phone at 10:04 pm with this verse as an Alarm on your phone. Make the title, “they refused to come”. That should get your attention. It should make you want His invitation. Join His celebration. It is truly out-of-this-world!
We again pray for all of the Sunday School teachers and leaders in our churches and fellowship groups. It takes a special person to do that. Someone who is… patient… persistent… caring… selfless… passionate… and so MUCH more. I hope that describes you! We need more people to carry on this great work. Some have done it for decades. They want to pass the baton to others… but no one is willing to take their place. Be one who does this great work. THANK YOU if that has been your task for many years. You have made a difference in the kingdom!! Support your Sunday School teachers. Help where you are able. Encourage them. Substitute to give them a break. If you can tell the story of Jesus love… you can teach it to kids (and adults)! Pass it on through acts of service and unselfish love.
