Remember that we are stewards!

21:43 Matthew “Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.“ (NIV)

The parable of the wicked tenants is meant to remind the Pharisees (and us) that we are workers in the kingdom of God. He is the owner. It is ALL His. We are to be faithful to His will. We are to follow His plans. We are to be honest in our dealings with Him and others. Can we say that? Do we act that way all of the time? If not, then today would be a great day to change. Ask that He takes control of our lives. Then let us follow all the blessings that He has in store for us!

Copy this link or this blog post and pass along this verse to friends and family. Ask how they would have reacted to the wicked tenants. Ask if they have ever been a poor steward on behalf of another person. Listen for their response. Let them know that Christ has taken away ALL of those sins. We are restored. We can start fresh in Him. Please Take Time For God’s Word at 21:43 (9:43 pm) and when you see a piece of fruit, then think of the fruit that we should produce for God. This is another parable. It reminds us of the wicked tenants and how they failed to produce good fruit for their master. As you may be winding down at night (9:43 pm), let this give you time to reflect on what you did that day which was fruitful for the kingdom of God. Also, think about what was a waste of time and your life. Each day is a new beginning. Seek to please Him in all that you do. Be a faithful steward of His blessings on you!

Our prayers also now extend to all of the youth pastors and youth leaders in our churches. What a great ministry opportunity they have. They can often work with the youth through many years of activities. They can see them grow. They can be there for them in moments of doubt or struggle. They can challenge the youth to live a life for Jesus. It is VERY important that we reach the youth NOW! The world and all of its temptations are pulling strongly on them. Encourage our youth ministers. Support them. Get involved. Make a difference. The future of the church depends on the next generations to come. Pass it on with faith and with faithfulness to share the Good News!
